- The best setup is using Zmodem and RTS/CTS and 57600 baud (locked)
- You can use the high baudrate on a normal machine with the BaudBandit.device,
- which is shareware. The RTS/CTS requires a 7-wire cable (as a minimum) and
- will improve throughput because of the hardware handshaking, it will also
- ensure that no data is lost.
- The max speed on the supra is 14.400, but on top of that comes v42bis which
- is data-compression, and this adds quite a few baud, on unpacked files it
- reaches >25000, opacked files >16.000.
- With the Baudbandit.device a lot more system-resources are freed and thus the
- screen-color depth isn't that important.
- You should normally lock the baudrate between modem and terminal to the highest
- possible (57600) this ensures that packing of files will be used optimal.
