- I was wondering if anyone has successfully gotten DNet to run between
- and Amiga and an HP/Apollo system running DomainOS. I've compiled it
- successfully, but the Unix side of DNet doesn't seem to want to talk
- to the Amiga side. I call my Unix host from inside the initial DNet
- window, then invoke "dnet -m0" (or just dnet). After which, all I see
- is occasional protocol junk appearing on stdout (doesn't start an
- fterm). Any ideas? Thanks!

- We've been having varying success with DNet on our DN3500/4500 Apollo's.
- Back when we were running DomainOS 10.3, DNet worked, kind of. The fcntl()
- calls were segfaulting, and it was the OS at fault, not the code. So, we
- commented them out and it worked, but you coouldn't use 'getfiles' et all.
- Just the multiple shells. Hey, the poor MacLayers users on our site were
- in the same boot too!
- Anyway, 10.4 fixed the fcntl bug. Now it segfaults elsewhere.
- I'm curious if you've had to do anything else odd to it. I sort of stopped
- when I got access on a sparcstation. everything compiles and runs without a
- histch!
