- Well, I would imagine that when linking mail, DLGMail looks for messages
- belonging to the same subject thread, and then modifies a certain field
- in each message pointing to the next and previous messages in the thread.

- doesn't work? Last time I read threaded mail on my system, it worked. I
- prefer to read mail in chronolgical order.

- I see the analogy, but what advantages would there be in designing a linking
- algorithm to follow such a tree? Message threads tend to take such varied
- paths that you'd be going back and forth in the thread. I may be
- old-fashioned, but I still prefer chronological reading, even in my message
- threads...
