- In the context of the discussion, the "showmount" command above must be on
- a VAX. However, on HP-UX and SunOS, showmount does indeed show who has
- volumes mounted from the machine. (Actually it regurgitates from /etc/rmtab
- which may be out of date.) On SunOS, "exportfs" shows what the machine
- is willing to export. On HP-UX, "cat /etc/exports" does this.
