  26. Hmmm.  I've been away from Sun systems for a while now and can't recall
  27. _exactly_ what the problem is but if I recall it has to do with NFS services
  28. being unexported while you have the file system mounted or some such.  I
  29. would try posting your message to COMP.SYS.SUN.ADMIN (or something like
  30. that) and emphisize the --> NFS: Stale filehandle <-- message since I recall
  31. it was the dead givaway.  Of course it may work differently on the VAX but
  32. I would be supprised.  I think your problem is on your host.  Good luck!
