- Heh... Hm. Well ... The same thing has happened to my machine.
-
- It happens to me under 1.3 or 2.0, so I don't >think< it's serial.device.
-
- I'm runing Jr-Comm, too, I assume you are? I have a SupraFaxModem V32bis.
- (Yes, it has worked fine for me, except for that unfortunate incident with
- those asparagus...)
-
- What happens to my system is this: The RD light goes on, but the dialer
- doen't "get" the Connect 19200 message. If I hit the close button quick
- enough, I merely get a software failure. If I wait too long, Guru!
-
- I think something is getting swamped somewhere... or maybe its a stack
- thing, I really haven't had the time to look in to it.
-
- Sorry, I can't offer much of a solution. Usually for the really tricky
- boards, I don't use the dialer, and just enter the numbers by hand in
- terminal mode.
-
- P'rhaps it will be fixed in the newer release of Jr-Comm ... or, pr'haps you
- could try some of the other Term. pgms. out there? (Ncomm, Term 2.0, etc.)
