- The reason why your HPIIIP didn't work with 1 MB of RAM is because of HP's
- resolution enhancement feature. This feature uses up part of the 1 MB thus
- leaving you with somewhere about 700K of memory. There isn't enough memory
- to print out a full page at 300dpi. There were a lot of problems with
- salespeople telling everyone that the 1 meg was enough when the III series
- was first introduced.
