- PageStream supports CompuGraphic fonts directly. PageStream comes with CS Times
- ,
- CS Triumvirate and Garamond Antiqua (CG fonts). In general, you just add the
- directory containing the fonts with the PageStream Font Manager (the Font
- Manager is basically just a way to add the directory to the list of places
- where PageStream looks for fonts. I have my 20 megs of fonts spread out over
- about 20 directories). I have heard that most of the fonts from the Gold Disk
- font pack work with PageStream (no warranty expressed or implied).
-
- However, let me call your attention to Adobe Type I fonts of which 100's are
- available in the Public Domain or Shareware (try places like hubcap.clemson.edu
- for fonts). Soft-Logik also has 600 commercial Adobe Type I fonts from the
- Imgae Club fonts for sale.
-
- Yes, PageStream will recognize the "35" standard built-in PostScript printer
- fonts and use them. You can control this through a text file (fontequivv2)
- with PageStream.
-
- Bitmaps are not needed for CompuGrapic or Adobe Type I fonts, but if available
- they speed up screen display.
