  19.     I believe that this is TeX's fault, and not LaTeX's: by default,
  20. TeX puts the margin 1 inch from the left and 1 inch from the top of the
  21. page, under the assumption that this makes a nice margin.
  22.     Unfortunately, my TeXbook isn't handy, but I think you need to
  23. do something like  \hoffset=0in \voffset=0in .
