- I believe that this is TeX's fault, and not LaTeX's: by default,
- TeX puts the margin 1 inch from the left and 1 inch from the top of the
- page, under the assumption that this makes a nice margin.
- Unfortunately, my TeXbook isn't handy, but I think you need to
- do something like \hoffset=0in \voffset=0in .
