  10. A question for all VIDC-wizzards out there:
  11.    I'd like to have some of the effects of a MODE-change call (the reprogramming
  12.    of the VIDC) but not the side-effects of allocating memory and clearing the
  13.    screen. How do I get this?

  15. Or asked in a different manner:
  16.    What do I have to poke where (and preferebly why) to change to a different
  17.    screenmode bypassing the usual VDU-calls.
