  14. I have an Acron Archimedes R140 UNIX system, which due to bad
  15. sectors on the fixed disk drive fails to boot RiscIX correctly,
  16. Panic'ing before the boort process is complete.
  17.  
  18. All the R140's that I have ever come into contact with have been
  19. pre-installed; is there any way to reinstall ? I have been quoted
  20. 150 pounds (UK Sterling) per hour for assistance from a couple of
  21. Acorn dealers, but my finances will not stretch to this extent
  22. sadly.

  24. Any pearls of wisdom gratefully received.
