  12. I have put a copy of ghostscript for the 3b1 on
  13.     ftp.cs.caltech.edu:pub/3b1/gs-bin.tar.Z

  15. It only has the pbm and g3-fax drivers compiled in (pbmraw, pbm, dfaxhigh
  16. and dfaxlow).  Pbmraw is the default.

  18. It does work, albeit slowly.

  20. I've found
  21.     gs -sOUTPUTFILE=\|pbmto3b1 -r100x72 file.ps
  22. works quite well (you need Steve Barber's pbmto3b1, available in the
  23. OSU/UUNet archives).  If the postscript has 300dpi bitmaps (like the
  24. fonts from converting dvi to postscript) then -r100x75 works a bit
  25. better.  The default resolution for the pbm device is 72x72.  Too bad
  26. the 3b1's screen doesn't have square pixels.  This only works for single
  27. pages though.........

  29. There are only a couple of fonts in the tar file -- you can pick up the
  30. rest in the subdirectory gnu-sources.
