- I have put a copy of ghostscript for the 3b1 on
- ftp.cs.caltech.edu:pub/3b1/gs-bin.tar.Z
-
- It only has the pbm and g3-fax drivers compiled in (pbmraw, pbm, dfaxhigh
- and dfaxlow). Pbmraw is the default.
-
- It does work, albeit slowly.
-
- I've found
- gs -sOUTPUTFILE=\|pbmto3b1 -r100x72 file.ps
- works quite well (you need Steve Barber's pbmto3b1, available in the
- OSU/UUNet archives). If the postscript has 300dpi bitmaps (like the
- fonts from converting dvi to postscript) then -r100x75 works a bit
- better. The default resolution for the pbm device is 72x72. Too bad
- the 3b1's screen doesn't have square pixels. This only works for single
- pages though.........
-
- There are only a couple of fonts in the tar file -- you can pick up the
- rest in the subdirectory gnu-sources.
