  11.  Yesterday, I obtained a 512k card and attempted to put it in my 7300. As I
  12. have a fully populated Combo card (1.5 meg), I wired pins 29 and 28 of the
  13. board to VCC to use (virtual) slot 4.

  15.  Were these the correct pins? I'm sorry to say I didn't do my homework and
  16. look for the correct documents to follow, but if this is incorrect I would
  17. muchly appreciate guidance to the path of correct 7300 hardware modification.

  19.  As of now, when I insert the board in slot 3, the computer refuses to boot,
  20. and not even the fans start to spin. When I take it out, it works OK. If it's
  21. not the pins, as I suspect it is, what could cause this type of thing to occur?
  22. The other two slots are occupied by two combo cards, one 1.5 meg and the other
  23. 0.0 meg (No memory).
