  11. I am looking for a C-program which will resize rectangular grey-scale
  12. bitmap images, 8-bit deep.
  13. My direct goal is to prepare mini-images resembling the originals (a sort of
  14. "icons") in a better way than through simple sub-sampling.
  15. I am interested also in more general algorithms of "smooth" resizing,
  16. because zoom operation on my graphic system is rather ugly and slow.
