  14. Here's a troll for a friend of mine:  he's got FTP access on an IBM VM/CMS
  15. system, and the only transfer protocol available to him is Kermit.  The
  16. kermit implemented is so slow, though, that the 9600 baud connection seems
  17. like it's moving at 1200 baud.  Does anyone have a transfer protocol that
  18. runs efficiently on such a system?  At this point, even a better Kermit would
  19. be an improvement, although I have no idea what the current version is.
