  11. Please excuse me if this is a little off-topic, but I am desperate for
  12. information and this seemed like an appropriate place to look.

  14. I am having trouble programming for a Mitsubishi CP210U color video
  15. copier and I was hoping someone here could help me out.  I want to be
  16. able to send image data directly to the CP210U through its Centronics
  17. parallel interface.  So far we have had only limited success.  I can get
  18. a GIF image out that doesn't look bad but the aspect ratio is screwed up
  19. and it's not clear to me how to select an image resolution.  So far all
  20. my printing has been of 640x525 images because that's the only res that
  21. doesn't bomb on me!  (I usually get a timing error (E0) whatever that
  22. means).

  24. I have the Mitsubishi operation manual but it is a poor translation from
  25. the Japanese and is filled with typos and inconsistancies to boot -
  26. worthless.  I've called a dozen different Mitsubishi numbers but
  27. I either get directed to another department or have to leave a voice
  28. mail message that never gets heard by anyone.

  30. Do any of you have any experience with this printer?  Specifically, what
  31. is the significance of the timing parameters (H-SIZ, H-RES, V-LIN, etc)
  32. and how can I calculate them to get out images at resolutions and aspect
  33. ratios of my choosing?  The manual really doesn't explain the meaning or
  34. importance of these constants at all.  Any information on the theory of
  35. operation of the copier or a little C source code would be greatly
  36. appreciated.
