  14. Many thanks to the person who suggested either to modify the sources
  15. or to build a fake shellscript around metamail. Sorry, i can`t remember
  16. his name. Now it works as expected.

  18. One thing makes me still wonder. The pushbutton is still there, in many 
  19. messages, even in messages i have written myself. I keep them in
  20. a folder named "ougoing". Selecting this folder often shows these messages
  21. with just a push button in them, which i have to press to see the contents.
  22. Is this the way it should work ?

  24. Another thing, which i find sometimes annoying, is the sometimes too strict
  25. type of address validation. E.g. Person Abc Def, which is only reachable via
  26. a gateway, would be adressed like that:

  28. To:@xyz.org:Abc.Def@blah.blah.blah.xyz.org

  30. Adressing this person that way with elm works and the message gets delivered.
  31. Using messages, it complains that the adress is not valid. In fact, the adress
  32. is valid, but messages just thinks so. Wouldn┤t it be a more user friendly way
  33. if messages would warn and ask ?

  35. One other thing that i miss, is to build aliases or nicknames "on the fly". Let┤s
  36. say a menu option which allows me to extract the mail adress from the current
  37. message i┤m in and assign a alias to it. Maybe this function is already there and
  38. i┤ve just missed something ?
