- I have taken a box of disks containing my thesis and lots of data files
- through such machines a couple of weeks ago and lost no information either
- time. Note, however, that the power output and spectrum of airport
- security x-ray machines in North America is a lot easier on magnetic
- and photographic media than the older clunkier machines used in many
- less-developed parts of the world, so it may depend on where you're going.
