  12. Finger can be replaced with something else, say, a simple Perl script.
  13. You might have something that prints out an appropriate message and
  14. then exits.  This means you can keep from printing user .plan files,
  15. thus cutting down on their attempts to use it as a "billboard".

  17. You can also hook this up to a "white pages" server, etc.
