- I recently recieved some information regarding "memory wires"
- and their use to provide linear motion. These wires consist of strands
- of an alloy of Nickel and Titanium refered to as either "Nitinol" or
- "Flexinol".This substance contracts under electrical stimulation,much
- like human neuro-muscular tissue.
- If anyone has any expirience with this material/technology,please e-mail
- me at the address below.
- Thanks.
