  10. We're thinking of using the TEXAS TMS320C40 and are wondering what
  11. there is available in the way of software development tools. TEXAS
  12. provide some but, if anyone can give me pointers to others, I'd very
  13. much appreciate it.

  15. In particular, we're looking for the following:
  16.  
  17. Cross support software residing on SUNs or PCs.
  18.  
  19. Compiler, linker, loader and debugging tools for VME boards using
  20. either a single TMS320C40 or an array of 'C40's. I've heard of
  21. "parallel" compilers but don't know anything at all about them (yet).
  22.  
  23. Support libraries.
  24.  
  25. A possible "operating system" although I believe that we will not have
  26. much use for an OS but may use just basic support routines instead.
  27.  
  28. All comments would be most welcome.
