  14.     One thing that's clearly politically correct lately is ascribing
  15.     political motives to every action taken by Novell.

  17. It certainly isn't just Novell - after all, Microsoft wound up writing
  18. NDIS drivers for the NE-series cards, just as Novell wound up writing
  19. the ODI drivers for the 3Com Ethernet cards.  There is one driver
  20. standard for the Mac.  There are four standards for DOS and three for
  21. OS/2.  The latter didn't come about through customer demands, and any
  22. shakeout will be based on the sponsoring organizations and the
  23. products they're trying to bolster, instead of the relative utility of
  24. the *drivers*.

  27.     taken by Novell when they bought Excelan was to sell off the EXOS205
  28.     product line....
