- We have the generic kernel and are using etherslip.com to use the
- ethdrv.exe file. However our Cisco Terminal Server refuses to
- terminate the slip connection once the modem hangs up. It recognizes
- hangups when not in slip modem. The net effect is that when callers
- dial in to the line, they are NOT presented with an IP. does ftp/ips 2.03
- kernel support BOOTP, or does anyone know where I can find a bootp client
- that will fire off the BOOTP packets and retrieve the appropriate information?
- If I can receive the information, I can make a small program to automatically
- change the ifconfig ifcust0 <ip address>
