- I am trying to use PCroute to achive to following setup:
- My building backbbone is network 132.66.48.0 with netmask of 255.255.255.0
- It is connected to the world through a cisco router 132.66.48.1 which
- gives us proxy arp and rip.
- I want to set up to 4 subnets of PCs (on thin segments) to my backbone:
- 132.66.51.0 , 132.66.51.64 , 132.66.51.128 , 132.66.51.192
- with a 255.255.255.192 subnet mask for all and proxy arp to all PCs.
- This implies a different netmasks on the different PCroute interfaces
- but when I tried that with the first segment and the precompiled pcroute
- it chokes on this setup and works only on equal netmasks.
- Do you have a way to work around this?
-
- Thanks
