- Hi,
- We are using NCSA telnet and lpr program on our PC. We can print to a
- line printer over the network without any problem. However, when it come
- to a laser printer, nothing seem to get printed. Although, lpd will
- happily give you the queue. One possible problem is that the laser printer
- drivers on the SUN is checking the user id before accepting a print job.
-
- Is there a way to set the user id on with the NCSA telnet lpr program? I
- can't find anything in the config.tel program that seems relevant.
