Hi,
We are using NCSA telnet and lpr program on our PC. We can print to a
line printer over the network without any problem. However, when it come
to a laser printer, nothing seem to get printed.  Although, lpd will
happily give you the queue. One possible problem is that the laser printer
drivers on the SUN is checking the user id before accepting a print job.

Is there a way to set the user id on with the NCSA telnet lpr program? I
can't find anything in the config.tel program that seems relevant.
