- I'm just starting to program some tcp/ip and I have a question
- (actually two). I once had a program that would go out and tell you
- what machines were talking on the network and would give you their
- hostnames. Sort of like ping for the entire network. My first
- question is how is this done? I'd like to write my own version (just
- as an exercise) and I figured it wouldn't be very hard to do. My
- second question is does anyone know where I can get the above program?
- I'd like to get it to see how that particular programmer implemented it.
