- I have recently run into a situation where a TCP implementation would not
- process an input if the FIN flag was set and the PUSH flag was not. It appeared
- to just stage the input and wait forever for a PUSH. As I read RFC 793, the
- FIN implies a PUSH on input and the host should process the FIN and send a
- close to the application.
