  11. I am trying to learn how to write a C program which uses the 
  12. socket library to connect to a remote ftp server and negotiate
  13. file transfers.  I am having a bit of a hard time although I
  14. believe I understand a good deal of what needs to be done.

  16. If someone could direct me to a good beginner's book or to some
  17. code which is easy to follow I would appreciate it.  I have the
  18. source to ftp, and rfc959 for ftp, but there's too much I dont
  19. know about the basics.
