  35. Just for the record, I think this is the first time I've seen a
  36. religious war on the net specific to CMISE vs SNMP.  I'm surprise this
  37. hasn't happened sooner, but then I don't follow this group much and I
  38. might of missed previous ones.

  44. I thought Bellcore's direction for operational interfaces to network
  45. elements was to use CMISE.  So says TR-828.  This has certainly been
  46. their stance in T1M1.  And they certainly have a large number of
  47. specified MIBs for use with CMISE.

  49. So it seems I'm equally uninformed as Mike. Would you please provide
  50. us with references of the Bellcore documents to which you refer?
