- Just for the record, I think this is the first time I've seen a
- religious war on the net specific to CMISE vs SNMP. I'm surprise this
- hasn't happened sooner, but then I don't follow this group much and I
- might of missed previous ones.

- I thought Bellcore's direction for operational interfaces to network
- elements was to use CMISE. So says TR-828. This has certainly been
- their stance in T1M1. And they certainly have a large number of
- specified MIBs for use with CMISE.
