- I have my SPARCStation IPC setup as a print server via PC-NFS
- Ver 3.5b. The printer I am using is a Hewlett Packard Laserjet
- IIIP and is attached to the IPC's serial port /dev/ttya.
- It all works fine except for one small problem....at the end of
- every print job, it ejects a blank page. My configuration is as
- follows:
- /etc/printcap on the IPC:
- ljet:\
- :lp=/dev/ttya:br#19200:\
- :ms=pass8,ixon,raw:\
- :sh:\
- :sd=/var/spool/lpd:\
- :lf=/var/spool/lpd/log:
-
- LaserJet config:
-
- AUTOCONT = OFF
- I/O = SERIAL
- BAUD RATE = 9600
- ROBUST IXON ON
- DTRPOLAR HI
- RET MEDIUM
-
- NFSCONF
- Printer is set up for raw transmission.
-
- Can anybody see what I might be doing wrong? Any ideas
- appreciated. My E-Mail addresses follow:
