- I have been trying desperately to get my PCNFS working again after
- "stacking" my hard drives. I get a wierd little happening when the
- PC is reading my config.sys file:
-
- it gets to the device loading statements for the PCNFS and..
-
- bad or missing EVICE=C:\LANMAN\PROTMAN.DOS
- DEVICE=C:\LANMAN\HPLAN.DOS
- DEVICE=C:\LANMAN\NFS-NDIS.SYS
- stacks=9,256
-
- ERROR in CONFIG.SYS line 25
-
- bad or missing EVICE=C:\LANMAN\HPLAN.DOS
- DEVICE=C:\LANMAN\NFS-NDIS.SYS
- stacks=9,256
-
-
- error in config.sys line 26
-
- ...
- .
- .
- etc
-
- and then it just keeps telling me that there are (unrecognized command) errors
- in the config.sys for lines 30-~60 (there are no such lines...)
- and then tells me that it can't find and appropriate command.com
- "bad or missing command interpreter"
-
- What gives? Shouldn't this stuff all work together, or did I misunderstand
- something..
-
-
- thanks
