- Hi
-
- Does anybody know how the MNP protocols are emulated in terminal software?
- I have seen MTE by MagicSoft do this. I haven't seen anything for Mac, though.
- I think it would be feasible to write a connection tool to do it.
-
- So I have a few questions:
- - Where can I ftp the protocol specs?
- - Is there some sample code available? (I have found some for MNP-2)
- - How do I get rid of start and stop bits generated by Mac hardware? How are
- PCs different in this sense?
- - I have figured out that V.42 and V.42bis can not be emulated. Please
- correct if I am mistaken.
-
- Please reply in email. I'll summarize the replies.
-
- Thanks for the time.
-
- Petri
