  15. Does anybody know how the MNP protocols are emulated in terminal software?
  16. I have seen MTE by MagicSoft do this. I haven't seen anything for Mac, though.
  17. I think it would be feasible to write a connection tool to do it.

  19. So I have a few questions:
  20.  - Where can I ftp the protocol specs?
  21.  - Is there some sample code available? (I have found some for MNP-2)
  22.  - How do I get rid of start and stop bits generated by Mac hardware? How are
  23.    PCs different in this sense?
  24.  - I have figured out that V.42 and V.42bis can not be emulated. Please
  25.    correct if I am mistaken.
