- Hai everyone,
- I have some problem compiling isode 8.0 using HPUX 8.07. It
- 'make' without serious error from the root of the isode directory. But
- when I try the snmp directory, by either doing a './make all-snmp' from
- the root, or './make' from the snmp directory, I encounter a lot of
- errors, such as "FIOCLEX" undefined (error 1588 from cc) for snmpd.c,
- a lot of incompatible types in cast (error 1527), invalid member of
- struct or union (error 1531), etc for interfaces.c, not so many for ip.c
- and tcp.c, and a lot of undefined (like "if_addr", "ifbroadaddr" for
- interfaces.c, "tcps_badsegs", "m_mbfree" for tcp.c, and "LOCK_EX",
- "LOCK_SH"...all the LOCK for users.c). The result: the only file that
- get created is xsnmpi. ( I have seen the compilation works for ULTRIX
- 4.2, with xsnmpd etc created). Any help will be much appreciated.
- The xsnmpi for both HPUX and ULTRIX has "internal error for
- community realNS, Int-X25, Internet, Janet, localTCP, IXI and bad
- community name "Int-X25" for variable default_x25_community...", but it
- seems to work fine as I can do get and dump correctly. Anyone knows why?
-
- Thanks for any help/clue.
