- if it is an SDLC type card, you may want to try running it at lower
- speed; i.e. if the 386SX is 16mhz, drop it to 8mhz. I have noticed
- this kind of an error with the IBM SDLC card when running with IBM
- 3270 software. Incidentally, this same card with non-IBM software
- seems to work fine on all systems. I suspect that the delay between
- two I/O instructions is fixed and maybe on faster machines the delay
- is not enough for the SDLC communications chip.
