- How do I rebuild the desktop on a CAP AUFS volume under System 7?
- Just holding down command-option when mounting the volume doesn't
- seem to do anything.
-
- Also, I'm getting some bizarre behavior with a folder on an AUFS
- volume that has a custom icon. Basically, the folder just disappears.
- I delete the desktop file, remount the volume, and the folder is there
- again. New files for .IDeskTop and .ADeskTop appear on the Unix side,
- but they are empty. Now I trash the volume, remount, and the folder
- is gone again. The .IDeskTop and .ADeskTop files are still empty. I
- delete them, remount and the missing folder is back. Any explanation?
-
- Also, anybody know if/how one could use a custom icon with an AUFS
- _volume_? I'd like to color my little BSD devil.
