- Hello network gurus:
- We have just recently installed A/UX 3.0 on our Quadra 700. We would like
- to be able to print straight to a Laserwriter that is ethernetted to
- a UNIX net of SUNS etc. from applications like Mathematica. It is my
- understanding that CAP (Columbia Appletalk Package) will do this for us.
-
- My question is: Is there anyone out there that has recently done this
- (installed CAP on a system running A/UX) and would be willing to give
- a neophyte some tips. Or is there a depository of information (other than
- the stuff that comes with CAP60) that would make things slightly more clear.
-
- I am wondering if I should just bulldoze my way through the installation
- and fix that which does not work, or should I know any tricks before I
- start that would make the process less painful.
-
- Thanks in advance. I will summarize to the net anything I receive.
