  15. My company is attempting to find a mail program that will allow us 
  16. to connect our MacIntosh's that are *Not* on the ethernet to our unix
  17. machines Mail system (and hence to the outside world).  
  18.  
  19. We have several of the macs on the ethernet, and for these we use
  20. eudora with great success.  Unfortunately, the other half of the
  21. building is not on the ethernet (they use normal appletalk).
  22.  
  23. We do have Microsoft Mail for the Macintosh, Although I have not
  24. looked into it much, I suspect that it wont be able to grab mail from a
  25. Unix host.

  27. Is there any software available that will allow an ethernet-less
  28. macintosh to pick up mail via either snmp or pop from a unix host.
  29.  
  30. Alternatively, Is there any software that will allow the unix machine
  31. to gateway mail to/from an appletalk network, and if so what type of 
  32. software would read such gateway-ed mail on the macintosh.

  34. We have either SGI Indigos or SUN sparcstations as the unix hosts.
  35. The sun runs CAP, so any software which uses this would be great.
