  12. We have just moved one of our file servers to our EtherTalk zone.  However,
  13. only some of the LocalTalk zones can "see" it.
  14.  
  15. After "snooping" with the "FastPath Manger" program, I discovered that my
  16. predecessor had configured the Phase I zone name on some, but not others.
  17. The ones with the Phase I EtherTalk zone name configured allow their
  18. LocalTalk client nodes to see the file server in the ET zone.  The ones
  19. without, do not.
  20.  
  21. The FastPath 4 manual says to configure only the Phase II, and KIP node and
  22. admin host information when using atalkad to supply the network configuration.
  23.  
  24. I am finding that I have to also configure the Phase I ET zone name in order
  25. to allow LocalTalk stations to access services in the ET zone.
  26.  
  27. We have 6 FastPath $ with PROM version 4.1, running K-STAR 8.1.1.
  28.  
  29. Our atalkad is KIP rev 0688.
  30.  
  31. Attached is a copy of our /etc/atalkatab file.
  32.  
  33. Any ideas or suggest will be greatly appreciated.
