- Hello,
-
- I have a problem installing CAP.
-
- I have successfully installed CAP using IPTalk. This
- works just fine. But we will move from our FastPath
- to EtherNet cards for all Macs. Thus using EtherTalk
- for CAP should give us some speed improvements.
-
- Now I have installed the enet driver. But aarpd
- won't start successfully. Instead the following
- error message is being printed.
-
-
- unix!: # aarpd le0 EtherTalk
- open: /dev/enetXX: No such file or directory
- 21:11:48 07/24/92 pi_open: aarp_init: No such file or directory
- init_enet: network initialization failed
-
-
- /dev/enet0 and /dev/enet1 do exist. So is aarpd really
- looking for /dev/enetXX or what is going on?
-
- Does it work with SunOS 4.1.1? The documentation says something
- about SunOS 4.0.3c .
-
-
- Our configuration is:
- SparcStation II, SunOS 4.1.1, cap60 patch level 100
-
- Can somebody help me?
