  36. EtherNet is not in a ring topology, but in abackbone topology, with 50ohm
  37. terminators 
  38. at either end for 10b2 (thinnet)

  43. No. that is, depending on what Mail you are running ... if it is TCP/IP

  45. yes, you do, but otherwise if you just have cc:Mail, or daVinci mail

  51. If you have a large internetwork with tcp/ip then someone needs to assign
  52. unique IP
  53. addresses, unless you use server addressing. If these are the only tcp/ip
  54. devices, 
  55. you can be somewhat arbitrary about the whole thing. But, if you mail
  56. doesn't
  57. need tcp/ip, and you aren't going to use telnet, ftp, nuntius, newreader
  58. etc from the
  59. Mac, then you don't need it.
