- Howdy fellow netters,
-
- I decided to be daring and finally give SYSMAN STARTUP a try and
- have had a weird problem with LAT starting up. For some reason,
- when LAT starts up, the Service Name for the node shows up as
- FULL. Needless to say, this is not the actual name of the node.
- I checked the comfile and see where p1 would be used as an
- optional Service Name, if supplied, but all paramaters in the
- invocation of LAT$STARTUP.COM are <def>. I could get around the
- problem by specifying the actual node name as p1, but that is not
- quite how I'd like to deal with this situation.
-
- Some specifics: VMS v5.5 in an NI cluster (note: this happens
- on every node in the cluster). BTW, LAT$STARTUP.COM is Enabled
- on all nodes.
-
- Any ideas and/or pointers would be highly appreciated. Thanks
- in advance for any help.
