  18. Note that this version is for cross-compiling only. It's impossible
  19. to run GCC on a PDP-11. I'm not sure if this version produces
  20. MACRO-11 output. Maybe it's for GAS or for old DECUS AS. Perhaps
  21. changing it for MACRO-11 is not too difficult.
