- I have an annoying problem with DECwindows/Motif 1.0A: If a DECterm is created
- from a remote node using RSHELL (MultiNet) or rsh (Unix) by a command like
- rsh VMSBOX "set disp/cre/tran=tcpip/node=ANOTHERBOX\;cre/term/det", then only
- the *first* window behaves as expected: SHOW DISP show where the X output is
- going and applications started from the terminal window do their display
- remotely. However, once I create yet another window the same way then SHOW DISP
- does not work and DECW$DISPLAY is not defined! Of course I can define it
- manually, but I would rather avoid that if possible. Have anyone found a way
- around this silly "feature"?
