- Hello netters,
- a hardware question here, but I don't know any better place.
- I own an old microvax II with 6 MB RAM. Now I found a cheap 8MB board
- and quickly removed the grant continuity card and the 1 MB board from
- the first slot after the cpu (BA23-cabinet) and put the 8 MB (Caminton
- is the producer) in.
- Well, the vax comes gracefully to the '>>>'-prompt, but won't find the
- secondary boot, aka. test 2 and test 1 fails.
- Whenever the cpu tries the test 2 all leds at the DELQUA, go out and
- wont go on again until the power is cycled.
- Since the memory test (6) went good and the board did run in another
- myvax, I have no idea what problem I have now.
- Any help or suggestion?
- Thanx,
-
