- asked:
- My questions are:
- 1) Is this hardware mix compatible?
- 2) Are there significant differences between an RZ23 & an RZ23L?
- 3) We're familiar with a Vaxstation 3100 where a SCSI device could be
- exercised/bad-block-scanned via an "odt" "TEST xx".
- The 4000/60 documentation does not mention such a test/exerciser.
- Does it exist?
- To answer question 3:
- >>>test/util scsi
- will get you a menu for
- formatting floppies
- erasing hard disks (with bad block replacement)
- floppy key
- tape key
-
- Erase hard disk failed on my rz23.
- I haven't a clue what floppy or tape "key" is.
