  16. I have a DHV11 (without a manual) for my VaxStation II running VMS 5.5 .

  18. I had the card installed and found that VMS crashed with a bug check in
  19. kernal mode during the VMS startup phase (bit difficult to know where).
  20.  
  21. The DHV11 config switches were set DDDDUDUD DDUDDDDU  (D=>open) as viewied
  22. from Q-bus edge connector.

  24. Are the switches set correctly (and the card stuffed) or what are the correct
  25. settings.

  29. an address.. I have the following set on the DHV11 in the MVII that I
  30. have..

  32. From the card edge connector:
  33.          CSR Address               Interrupt Vector
  34.             E58                          E43
  35.          000010011                   011000   (switch E43-2 is not used)
  36.  
  37. where 1= switch on
  38.       0= switch off
  39.  
  40. This defines an address of 17760460 (factory default BTW)
  41. and an Interrupt Vector of 300 (also factory default)
  42.  
  43. Now I hope that someone else can explain better than I about the addressing
  44. in the configuration..  I only watched the Digital FE intall the stuff, but
  45. try to watch everything that he is doing in case I have to do it myself.
