- VT1200s do this *regularly*. Basically, they are ok for using as a
- multisession text terminal, but just run out of memory when using andy

- Yes we have seen this problem. It is not just the DEC print screen program,
- it is any X application of any size.

- Increase the amount of memory in the VT1200 from 2Mb to 4 or more

- Use different X terminals - from DEC (VTX2000) or third party, eg NCD

- You could try using xwd. I believe there is a version on one of the DECUS
- tapes.

- You could try going to VMS 5.5 I do seem to remember the odd crashette
- when using the 5.4 screendump which doesnt seem to happen with 5.5
