  25. VT1200s do this *regularly*. Basically, they are ok for using as a
  26. multisession text terminal, but just run out of memory when using andy
  27. graphical program.

  42. Yes we have seen this problem. It is not just the DEC print screen program,
  43. it is any X application of any size.

  45. Your options:
  46.  
  47. Increase the amount of memory in the VT1200 from 2Mb to 4 or more
  48.  
  49. Use different X terminals - from DEC (VTX2000) or third party, eg NCD
  50.  
  51. You could try using xwd. I believe there is a version on one of the DECUS
  52. tapes.

  56. You could try going to VMS 5.5   I do seem to remember the odd crashette
  57. when using the 5.4 screendump which doesnt seem to happen with 5.5
