- True, however in the same 10 seconds you could set the allocation class. Guess
- it is just a matter of preference ... however, I wonder if it makes a
- difference when MSCP serving disks ? I seem to remember that in CI clusters,
- a VAX could only MSCP serve HSC disks from an HSC which was in the same
- allocation class as the VAX. Wonder if this is necessary for DSSI devices ?
- Not sure, since although we have MSCP-served disks, it has always been with an
- allocation class set. Don't believe the original poster mentioned this (think
- it was a stand-alone VAX 6000), but curious if anyone knows ...
