- We are using the Print Screen Utility provided by DEC to
- capture and print some real-time plots. Every now and then the
- VT1200 terminals will lock up and the only way out seems to be a
- reboot. (Don't know if it's a reboot??, Switched off then on).
- The problem is that this is real-time data and the process of
- creating the plots, etc.. is time consumming. We can't let this happen
- so the other option is no hardcopy of real-time graphs. YUCK !!
-
- Has anyone else seen this problem ?? Can I fix it or should I
- try to hack xwd (X Window Dump) that comes with the R4/R5 release to
- run under VMS. (This may compile cleanly ?!?) I don't want to do this
- because it is a Class A type of deal and the documentation would kill me.
-
- We are running VMS 5.4-3 and Motif.
-
- Thanks in advance !!!!!
