  16.     My name is Tony Nelson. I am involved in forming a research group,
  17.     an experience quite new to me.  We will doing research into 
  18.     real time systems, distributed systems, parallel systems and using 
  19.     AI'ish (heuristic) techniques in these various systems.

  21.     We would appreciate any comments from people who have been through the 
  22.     process of establishing research groups.
  23.     Also we want to get some outside ( industrial? ) interest in our work and 
  24.     would appreciate and hints, suggestions etc that you may be able to offer 
  25.     from your experiences.

  27.     How should we approach industries ? 
  28.     What is the best protocol for publishing papers (ie. is it better to go 
  29.     for journals first or technical reports etc. )? 
  30.     Suggested organisational methods etc. 
  31.     Any DO's and DONT's ?
